13. AML/KYC and Mandatory Reporting
As of October 11, 2024, Richview Capital Corp. is a reporting entity under the Proceeds of Crime
(Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA) as a mortgage administrator and
lender. We are required by law to collect, verify, and retain identity information from borrowers and
investors, and to report certain transactions and suspicious activities to FINTRAC. These obligations
override consent requirements under PIPEDA and are non-negotiable conditions of using our services.
14. Transfer of Information Outside Canada
In some cases, personal information we collect may be transferred to, processed, or stored by service
providers located outside of Canada (for example, cloud-based software providers). When this occurs, the
information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed, which may differ
